Meet up at the Raspberry Parking Area on the north side of Raspberry Road going into Kincaid Park
Cost: Free
Come on out for a sociable evening skijor. The parking area/trailhead is about ½ mile into the park on your right as you drive in. The lighted, multi-use trail extends for approximately two miles, allowing for about a four mile run out and back if you go both directions from the trailhead. The trail rolls and climbs from the park entrance to the stadium/Ski Chalet area. It’s not too steep, with breaks in the climb and descent.
Raspberry Road Trail is great place to run your dogs after work on these short, mid-winter evenings. We look forward to seeing you there. Don’t forget your poop bag!
A show and go is an informal get together to skijor as a group. This allows skijorers to practice skijoring and for the dogs to learn socialization, following, overtaking and head-on passing. This event is great for all skill levels.
