Bob Toney Memorial Chugiack Chinook Race 2006
Race director Kris Rasey said there was a good turnout for the 5K race and trail tour. The trail was beautifully groomed by the Nordic Ski Club and marked by the Eagle River Nordic Ski Club.
Kim Wells, the 2 dog woman's winner, received a Christmas headdress for her dogs for the fastest race time on the course, beating Bud Rice and his 2 dogs by one second! First, second, and third place winners received prizes of dog soap, dog food, dog biscuits, and chew toys.
